Metrobus Works Bradley Stoke Way, Great Meadow to Great Stoke

Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd - 8th February 2017

Week Commencing 27th February we shall commence works on the final section of Bradley Stoke Way Griffiths have been authorised to complete; between the Great Meadow Roundabout and the Great Stoke Roundabout.

The object is to widen the carriageway to construct a Metrobus lane on the eastern verge of the carriageway travelling from Great Meadow to Great Stoke. See Plan of work Area

We anticipate works will last for a duration of three months. Initially, for a period of three weeks, we need to complete some groundwork removing soil and vegetation using diggers and large trucks. This will need some traffic management so (off peak) temporary traffic lights will be on site for this period only. Advanced road signage will indicate when we start.

All works will be during normal daytime working hours Monday to Friday 0800 1700 and Saturday 0800 1300. During these hours, at times, we will be using heavy plant machinery to lay and compact foundations for the new carriageway. This may cause some noise and vibration to the nearest properties.

Apologies for any disruption caused throughout this period of work and thank you for your continued patience as we work towards the conclusion of our works in this area.
